BEDA #25: Weekly Wrap-Up
Before beginning to type, I was thinking about how my week did not begin well while browsing my Tumblr dashboard. This one popped up and is surprisingly appropriate. This also sums up a great deal.
Monday was pretty much consumed with worry, stress, and BA's on-hold music. (Which, incidentally, is the same music they play during the on-board safety videos. Is this all a cruel joke to you, British Airways?!) Since then, I've mostly been hanging out with Evan, watching 30 Rock, and writing at the bookshop. On Wednesday we went to the local microbrewery for dinner and drinks, then to a local restaurant-bar for a local comedy night. The "comedy" was terrible but we had a fun night regardless. My brother is currently here to visit -- after this weekend we may not cross paths again until August. We've mostly been eating and hanging out.
This week I have been mostly...
Watching: 30 Rock (we're almost finished season 3!); glimpses of baseball games at restaurants (Friday's game wasn't on satellite); and In The Loop.
Reading: Books: Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer (finally finished it), and You Shall Know Our Velocity! by Dave Eggers (which I keep reading 10 pages at a time & am trying to finish by this weekend). Magazines: Entertainment Weekly, Time, Total Film, & Cineaste.
Eating: Cheeseburgers, burritos, nutella sandwiches & a big breakfast.
Et al: Enjoying the gorgeous weather; paying for coffee & staying to read magazines; contemplating buying an iPad; knowing that would be a ridiculous thing to do; trying to catch up on the UK election; writing; napping; and catching up with friends.
How was your week?
'Til Tomorrow!
